May 25 2008 this was my 3rd time seeing breathe carolina and I have great memories with Brina and Brianna because of this show. The tickets are signed by all of breathe Carolina -1, hector 3000 of the medic Droid and Colin baylen of a cursive memory.

So yesterday I missed school and left at 12:30 to LA with my best friend and my mom to go to Breathe Carolina’s free show. My best friend and I waited in line from 2 - 5 doing whatever we could to pass the time. 

finally around 5 we got our wristbands into the show. We waited another hour in our car before we could finally line up. By 7:15 we were in the venue. My friend and I automatically decided we were going upstairs where we got seats in the second row of seating. And as we walked into the Troubadour the house music was playing Say Anything so I automatically knew the show was going to be awesome.

Mr. Downstairs was the first band and Having known Dani from the Millionaires I was scared for how they were going to sound but honestly they were great. Their music style fit well with their voices and they had good stage presence. 

The second band was called It Boys. I won’t say anything about them because if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all :)

Breathe Carolina finally made it to the stage with the most energy I’ve ever seen them with. They had a good mixture of songs from all of their albums. The crowd was insane and there was a new person on the stage every 30 seconds. Austin Carlile came out during one of the songs and performed with them then proceeded to jump into the crowd. The lighting was great as always and the boys energy was perfect the whole way through.

When their set was done I booked it outside not wanting to deal with a mess of people. We waited by the alley hoping we’d get to see someone from the band. After almost an hour of waiting we were giving up hope and about to leave when we see Kyle emerge from the alley. There was only about 15 people waiting still so he began talking to us. He told us about Eric being arrested on the first day of warped (which we went to) and how they played the kings game and how their old merch guy TastE was working at staples. He got super deep on how we are the only reason Blackout could have gone gold. Kyle just seems to continually prove to me that he is the nicest guy ever. He then tells us he wants to show us something and if anyone has a car with and Ipod player close to where we were. I automatically yell as my best friend does that her car is RIGHT next to us. we all mosey on over to her egg (ford focus) and plugs his phone into her ipod jack and plays us their new cover of Billie Jean which was amazing it was Kyle, Her, Me, and a few random people just sitting in her car. Once out of the car we were all standing there with more of him thanking us and telling us he knows everyone of us which made all of us feel special I could tell by everyone’s faces. he then asked to get a group picture of all of us (above, I am on the bottom left in black) and then posted it on twitter.

After a few people got their pictures with him it was my turn and before I could even say anything he hugged me. I tried pulling away from the hug numerous times but he wouldn’t let go. He went on hugging me while telling me that every time he tells someone or thinks about the fight at Chain Reaction he thinks of me. I felt touched by the fact that he ever thought about me. He told me it touched his heart how much I cared for him. my friends camera wasn’t working so she got out her phone and I got him to take a picture to represent the show which was my 14th time seeing them.

then I told him “I have one question for you” he nodded and I continued “Do you still have my socks?” he knew what I was talking about since he gave me his shoes back in November 2010 and he was barefoot so I gave him my MGMT socks to keep his feet warm. He automatically replied with of course and said he brought them to LA with him. He walked towards his friends car thinking he had his suitcase with him but he didn’t. I then told him about how his girlfriend made me a personalized dress for me and he goes “That was yours?! she worked so hard on that.” he was so proud of her. The last thing I did was show him pictures of me and the Breathe boys since day one and he laughed with me and was so excited. Kyle Even is the best guy on this planet. 

I love the shows I go to with my best friend Brianna Hager we have some crazy memories together.

Concert ticket #5 (my 10th show)

This is a very special ticket to me and it is actually awesome that today is the day I get to post it. 

This is a ticket to Breathe Carolina’s first Californian show January 24, 2008 at the Glass House. Why today is an awesome day to post it is because I’ve been with this band from the beginning (obviously) and last night I saw them for the 14th time and the show was to celebrate them signing to a major label. I couldn’t be anymore proud especially when I found out their recent single went gold.

The Ticket is signed by David from Breathe Carolina.

First time I saw Breathe Carolina live. January 27, 2008 at the Knitting Factory in the Alterknit Lounge (which held like 30 people, if that). Met them the night before this at Chain Reaction, but the show happened to be sold out. My how time flies.

I’m so about to go down memory lane and look at all my tickets
